Reliable help after natural disasters
An impressive example of emergency aid is Mozambique from 2019: 2.2 million people, over one million of them children, were affected by the devastating impact of cyclones Idai and Kenneth. The United Internet for UNICEF Foundation was the first organization whose donations reached UNICEF in Mozambique - worldwide. We were able to collect a total of 1.2 million euros for the victims of the two cyclones.
We forwarded 100% of this sum to UNICEF. This provided families with water and laid important foundations for long-term reconstruction. Numerous children and their parents received medical aid, food and sufficient protection for the poorest children.
Over 65 million euros since the foundation was established
Every single one of you is part of the big picture. You make United Internet for UNICEF what it is: the most successful foundation for UNICEF in Germany. Every contribution from you makes a difference and helps to help the children of this world. Since 2006, over 65 million euros have been raised, 100% of which has gone to UNICEF. This is an enormous amount that has already made a big difference.
Safiatou from Burkina Faso (picture below), for example, is learning to read and write in a school in the village of Sokoroni, which could also be built thanks to you. Or Hawa from Sierra Leone was able to give birth to a healthy daughter - thanks to a mosquito net that protects them both from malaria. You helped to ensure that significantly more children survive there today.
